More Beer Releases - Flying Dog, Shiner (Spoetzl), Deschutes

Flying Dog's Raging Bitch, 8.3%ABV
Flying Dog's 20th Anniversary Celebration release is a Belgian-style IPA, with a delicate bitterness and citrus hop flavor. The belgian yeast transform the IPA into something a bit more subtle than your typical American version.

Spoetzl Brewery, Shiner Frost Winter Seasonal,
5.5%ABV
Brewed in the style of a Dortmunder lager, Shiner's own website describes the beer as hitting your tongue first with some malty sweetness and munich malt nuttiness, then fading to a crisp german hop flavor. Starts malty, ends like a true pilsner.

Deschutes Jubel 2010, 11%ABV
This is the next beer in Deschutes reserve series and isn't even up on the website yet. The folks over at beernews.org have the details on the story behind this extra strong version of Deschutes Jubelale, aged 13 months in Oregon pinot noir barrels. If you get Deschutes in your area, you should see this beer in February.
