West Town Brewing Company, Small Batch Homebrew

What do you do when you want to brew, have a crazy brewing idea, realize you have the ingredients for a half batch of said idea, and time on your hands to age said small batch appropriately?

You brew it, dummy, you brew it.

Only recently bottled, and officially brewed some time close to the end of summer...

Mash @ 155 degrees F.
1 lbs. Roasted Barley
0.5 lbs. American Caramel 120°L
0.5 lbs. 2-Row Brewers Malt
0.5 lbs. Chocolate Malt
1 lbs. Oats Flaked

Add bittering hops (the Chinook below) and boil for 45 minutes. Then add:
1 lbs. Dry Dark Extract
1 lbs. CBW® Golden Light Powder
1 lbs. Dry Light Extract
1 lbs. Candi Sugar Clear

Bring back to a boil adding flavor hops (Styrian Goldings) after 5 minutes. Cut heat after another 10 minutes. Cool as quickly as possible and add yeast.

Hops:
0.75 oz. Chinook (Pellets, 11.9 %AA) boiled 60 min. info
1 oz. Styrian Goldings (Pellets, 3.5 %AA) boiled 10 min. info

Yeast : WYeast 1388 Belgian Strong Ale

Approximately a pint of Dark Matter's El Salvadorian coffee was added to the secondary.
