This is the 5th beer in the Summit Unchained Series of limited-time-only beers. Just in time for fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. Brewed with Sweet China Cinnamon, Jamaican Allspice, Powdered Cassia Buds, Ground Nutmeg, Ginger Powder, Ground Mace, and Ground Ceylon Cloves.
Sounds like a nice change of pace to the typical light pumpkin ales, to emphasize the chocolate and roasted grain elements of a porter with an array of fall spices.
Look for an OMG Beer! review when we get our hands on it. Minnesotans will find the Imperial Pumpkin Porter on tap next week, and hopefully bottles of the beer make it out of the state in November.
