Flossmoor Station Celebration IPA

Pours a cloudy amber with a nice fluffy off white head that settled pretty quickly into the glass. Big aroma of caramel melt and piney, citrus hops. Lots of citrus fruit flavors at first, followed by caramel toast and bitter bubbles that linger on the tongue. Maybe a little too carbonated, definitely brings out the bitterness in the aftertaste. The maltiness stands up to the bitterness pretty well though, rounds out the beer, and makes it very drinkable, if you can handle the bitter hops blast. Dry, lingering toast flavor just underneath the sticky citrus pine residue. This is an older Flossmoor IPA, from their previous brewer (now at Oakshire Brewing in Eugene, OR).
